1. General Terms of service
These Terms of Service Agreement may be changed from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and your use of this Web Site after such changes have been posted will constitute your agreement to the modified Terms of Use and all of the changes.

2. Private Tutor Registration

a) Service Agreement
After registration as tutor, your tutor profile may be listed on the website or even sent to the potential clients upon request. However, Gradtutors will not reveal any personal contact information to the general public. We are committed to protect your privacy.

b) Payment of Tutor's Salary
The salary period will be monthly basis or as agreed by both parties (student and tutor). Tutors will only receive 50% of tuition fee for the 1st salary period directly from the student. Another 50% will be payable by the student to the agency.

c) Confirmation of Tuition Assignment
Upon confirmation of an assignment, tutors who fail to turn up for the 1st tuition session will be required to pay a penalty to Gradutors.com for our coordination effort. Also, tutor profile will be permanently removed from Gradtutors.com. This is necessary so that Gradtutors can continue to ensure the quality or our coordination service.

d) Disclaimer for default on salary payment
WIthin our limit, we shall protect our tutors' interest. However, Gradtutors will not be held responsible for any default of salary payment. Also, Gradtutors will not act as an arbitrator or mediator for any conflicts or disagreements that arise between the tutor and the student. Nevertheless, we are always prepared to offer our views and suggestions.

e) Content posted by registered tutors

Tutors are solely responsible for content posted online. Gradtutors.com administrator reserves all rights to review/edit your account, and delete any account not genuinely created. Content posted must not be offensive, harmful to the general public.

3. Tuition Centre and Group Tutor Registration

a) For tuition centre, you must be a registered business with ACRA and and own a valid license to operate education related business in Singapore.

b) You are responsible for all claims, suits, liabilities, or damages which you may have in connection with your posted content presented under Gradtutors.

c) If you are a represenatative from a tuition centre, please seek prior approval before your registration with Gradtutors to ensure that you are able to post your centre's profile and related content on our website.

d) For group tutors, you must have previous experience with conducting group tuition and above 21 years old to register with us.

4. Intellectual Properties
The materials located on this Web Site including the information and all materials are protected by copyright, trademark and other forms of proprietary rights. All rights, title and interest in the Contents are owned by, licensed to or controlled by Gradtutors.com.

5. Disclaimer of warranties and liabilities
Gradtutors.com shall in no event be liable for any damages, loss or expense including without limitation, direct, special or consequential damage or economic loss arising from or in connection with:

5.1) Any access, use or the inability to access or use this website, or reliance on the materials and/or any information on the website.

5.2) Any system, server or connection failure, error, omission, interruption, delay in transmission, or computer virus

5.3) Any use of or access to any other website linked to this website

5.4) Gradtutors.com will not be responsible for conduct of any tutors online or offline. We assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or communications.
