I started off coaching primary school students and moved on to tutor secondary school students in 2009. My main reason for remaining as part-time tutor is because i was studying previously and currently employed with a full-time job. In 2010, i tutored in a tuition centre as well with 8-10 students in each class. I have strong knowledge in primary school syllabus in subjects including English, Maths and Science through my constant years of teaching. I am patient with students and do not "spoon-feed" my students with the solutions as i strongly believe in guiding them to determine the solution themselves. I prefer interactive lessons, that is, to guide students the key concepts for each topic/subject and allowing them to ask questions as and when a need arises. I believe only two-way communication will lead to improvement in students' results. |
