Academic / Musical achievements: Retired Professor. PhD in Physics. Have been teaching undergradauates and Postgrads with 30 years experience in the UK, Australia and US. Relevant Experience / Teaching Style: Interactive, prefer one-one or low student numbers. Enjoy demos and pracs to motivate students. Have previously helped a number of private students in Singapore. A Physics student came to me 2 months before his 'O'level exams. He has now gain an A2 and emitted to a top JC. Another JC1 failure in Maths came to me last year. 6 months on and he is now top 5 in Maths in his class and moving on to do IB. References can be provided from their parents at any time to prove my results. Will also do online tutoring via Skype. Special Training / Skills: Specialist in Science and Engineering Teaching, a member of the American Association of Physics Teachers and a Senior Member of the IEEE US for over 10 years. |
