1. What is gradtutors.com?

Gradtutors is a reliable tuition agency in Singapore. Parents/students can find a large database of tutors and send a request to us online. Most registered tutors are undergrads and graduates with diploma/degree qualification.

2. Will the information I provide be safe online?

All your personal contact information is confidential and private. Prior to establishing contact for tutors and students, we will ask your permission to send out contact details. We are committed to protect your privacy. Please read our privacy statement.

3. What are the benefits for parents?

Students can find suitable tutors from our large database of tutors. Unlike traditional tuition agency matching, parents can have a choice to look through tutors' profile and indicate any preferences.

4. I have sent a tutor request. How long can my child start to have tuition?

We will contact our tutors within 2 business days and get back to you. Normally your child can start to have tuition within a week.

5. I would like to request for a full time tutor/school teacher. Are there any?

We do have a number of registered full time tutors/school teachers. However, tuition rate for full time/school teachers will be higher, and subject to availability.

6. Do I need to pay an agency fee or is Gradtutors.com providing free tutor matching?

Gradtutors.com operates like normal tuition agencies. Upon successful matching, we will collect from the student a small amount of agency fee. However, this amount will be deducted from 50% of tutor's 1st salary payment. Parents need not pay us extra.

7. What if my child do not like the tutor. Can I change another one?

If you find that the tutor is not suitable, please let us know within 2 lessons. We will change another tutor for you and will not collect additional agency fee (That means we collect agency fee for 1 tutor instead of 2). However, your tutor will collect the tuition fee for his/her 1 or 2 lessons. Pls note that we will only change a tutor for you once.

8. My child has started tuition. How do I make payment to the agency?

We collect a small agency fee from tutor's 1st salary payment (50%). For payment details, you may visit the tuition fee guidelines section.

9. What are the benefits for tutors?

Tutors may register with us and have his/her profile listed free on the web site. We do not charge any fee until you have successfully receive a tuition assignment from us.

10. How do I register as tutor?

Due to large number of registration, we are not able to manually register you as our tutor over the phone. Please register through the web site. Instructions will be pretty clear.

11. I do not like this web site at all and I want to remove my profile. How do I do so?

Well, you can log in and remove your profile any time.
